| | 🤖 Shopify calls this the first holiday of agentic shopping. Shopify's newsroom makes the case that AI agents will shape this season. Its holiday report says 65% of shoppers plan to use AI for at least one shopping task, and regular AI users lean toward indie brands. Stanley 1913 saw five times more AI-referred US orders, and Cottonique's AI-referred sales grew 276%. The catch: only a third of shoppers trust an agent to buy for them, so your product story still has to close the sale. 🗓️ Seven BFCM campaigns you can schedule once with Rollouts. A new Shopify guide walks through seven BFCM campaigns built with Rollouts, which bundles theme changes, discounts and catalogs into one timed release that reverts when the promotion ends. Ideas include an early access sale for members that hands over to the public sale on the minute, per-market sales that start at local midnight, and a daily flash deal layered on top of a weekend-long offer. 📣 An influencer-led launch did $8,500 in day one. Now what? A merchant on r/shopify shared numbers from an influencer-led launch: about 1,050 sessions, $8,500 in sales, roughly 4.6% conversion and 100 of 1,200 units sold, all with zero ad spend. The influencer makes great content but will not commit to a schedule. They are asking whether to start ads, how to forecast a reorder, and how to keep momentum when both founders run it on the side. | |

| | 🌍 US merchants can now pay overseas suppliers from Balance. Shopify released international payments from Balance for the US. Eligible merchants can pay recipients in other countries straight from the Balance mobile app, with transparent pricing and no extra setup. Shopify pitches it as a cheaper way to settle invoices with international suppliers, so if you currently wire money through your bank, compare the fees before your next stock order. | |

| | 🧺 Pickup-only carts hide shipping at checkout without a word. A Colorado snack maker asked Shopify to explain missing shipping when a cart holds only pickup-only items, because customers think checkout is broken and leave. The checkout customizations that could fix it need Shopify Plus. A community helper posted a workaround: tag those products pickup-only and add a Custom Liquid section to the cart page that shows a notice before checkout. 🧾 B2B draft orders show different discounts to you and the buyer. A developer reports a mismatch with automatic discounts on draft orders. When the buyer is a company location and Apply Automatic Discounts is on, the admin and API show no discount, yet the customer sees it applied when they open the invoice link. If you quote B2B orders by draft, open the invoice link yourself before sending totals to a customer. | |

| | 📦 Purchase orders now have their own reports in Analytics. You can now review and export purchase order data in Shopify Analytics. Three new reports cover purchase order costs, including supplier costs and estimated taxes, purchase order transfers through shipping and receiving, and purchases on order that have no linked transfer yet. The Purchase Orders page also shows totals ordered, acceptance rate and shipments due soon, handy before you plan holiday stock. | |
